Lindsay Martin Oluyede, PhD, AICP

Lindsay Martin Oluyede is a transportation scholar-practitioner. Her research focuses on what and how we can learn from the lived experiences of transportation disadvantaged populations to improve transportation equity.

She is the creator of Urban Renewal: In Retro (www.urbanrenewalstories.com), a digital repository of multimedia projects that capture the stories of communities impacted by urban renewal in cities across the United States.

Currently, she holds the position of Presidential Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Arizona State University, in the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning. Previously, she worked at two leading national environmental organizations and a consulting firm with a well-respected public sector practice. She received a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University, a MURP from Virginia Tech, and a PhD in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
